This light card game is by the brilliant art/design team behind the great Machi Koro and is as kawaii as it gets! Nab it now, as this lil’ guy is perfect for gamers of all ages and already spreading like wildfire.
So, what exactly is a Diamonster?
Well, it’s a very rare, wily and righteous creature with epically expensive tastes: these guys only devour delicious diamonds!
You guessed it, it’s diamond season and the monsters need your help hunting. But to start you’ll need to start collecting your own monster menagerie to help you with the search.
It’s a diamonds race between you and your pals, but there’s another way to the top: nabbing 3 of the same kind of monster. But keep in mind, there will be some wrinkles thrown your way. Every monster is unique and has different strengths and weaknesses. So don’t be surprised when, say, your most powerful monster is beaten by his tiny nemesis or someone gets really hungry and gobbles your diamonds.
Diamonsters is a card game for 2 to 6 players. It’s heavy on the fun, but swift (with just a 10 minute playing time) enough for random playing no matter what the occasion—or who the creature!
Critics are loving this light-hearted, fast-paced game that’s great for EVERYONE:
- “It’s quick, it’s easy, it’s that constant bluffing, double bluffing psychology.” – Dice Tower
- The look on Watch It Played‘s Rodney and his son’s faces is all you need to know to figure out how they feel about Diamonsters!
- “It’s a ton of fun packed into these small cards.” – Edo’s Game Reviews
