Arraial: Portugese hit coming soon!
From the Nuno Sentieiro and Paulo Soledade, the talented design team of critical favorites like Nippon, Madeira, and Panamax comes a brand new family-friendly tile laying game that is sure to be a hit with families everywhere!
"Arraial" is the name given to traditional Portuguese summer celebrations during which people take to the streets eating, drinking, and having fun in the old neighborhoods that are bedecked with arches, colorful balloons, popular music, and the aroma of sweet basil.
Arraial is a fast-paced tile-laying game in which players take turns placing tiles in their neighborhood with tile-shapes that fit perfectly with the previous placed tiles, trying to create a diverse party and compete to attract visitors to their neighborhood! The unique rotating central board means your position at the table will have an impact on gameplay!
Arraial will be available at Essen Spiel 2018 from Portugese publisher Mebo games, and from Pandasaurus Games early next year!
Tom Vasel of The Dice Tower raved about Arraial "The game is fast, it's simple, it's fun. I actually like it better than Uwe [Rosenberg]'s entire trilogy. I like it better than Cottage Garden, Indian Summer and Spring Meadow. I just like this one alot."
Rahdo ran down Arraial and had this to say "This game is adorable. Jen and I really, really enjoyed this one"
