How It Works
Refuge is played over five “Walks,” each turn bringing new decisions and risks. Players simultaneously draw two tiles from their bags, choose one to extend their path, and place the other back for future turns. Along the way, you’ll gather animal tiles for points, collect gear with special effects, and purchase new tiles to optimize your bag. But watch the weather track carefully—once the storm hits, those still on the trail risk losing hard-earned progress!
With a combination of tile-laying, bag-building, and push-your-luck mechanics, Refuge offers a beautiful and tense adventure for players of all skill levels. Quick to learn but full of strategic depth, it’s the perfect game for family nights and seasoned gamers alike.
