Good Games Don't Leave the Table

Good Games Don't Leave the Table

Written by Rainalyn Huang

Board Game Geek lets players log every session they play, and that data feeds directly into their Most Played list, a running snapshot of what the tabletop community is actually sitting down to play, week after week.

As of May 28, 2026, three Pandasaurus titles are holding strong on that list:

#14 - Faraway - 24 months on the list

If there's a common theme in the 3 games on this list, it's "quick and punchy". Faraway can play as quickly as 15 minutes, which is great because after your first play, you're definitely going to want to play another.

Why? Well, Faraway has a mind-bending, clever twist: your journey scores in reverse. The cards you play last are scored first, so every decision has to account for what hasn't happened yet. Strategic, surprising, and exactly the kind of game that keeps hitting the table.

#10 - Sea Salt & Paper - 34 months on the list

The longest-running Pandasaurus title on the list—and it's not slowing down anytime soon. This hand-management game with gorgeous origami-inspired art asks you to collect sea creatures, build sets, and decide when to call STOP. Push your luck or play it safe; either way, you'll be playing it again immediately!

#4 - Castle Combo - 19 months on the list

Castle Combo has been on this list for the shortest amount of time, but it's the highest ranked! (This is likely because we recently released its first expansion, Out of the Oubliette)

This card-drafting, tableau-building game is full of opportunities to combo massive points, and all in only 20-30 minutes!
