Gen Con was an incredible ride this year! We had our most successful Gen Con in company history (so far) and it was due largely in part to all of the amazing titles we brought. Here’s a look at our best sellers, plus some honorable mentions that would’ve made the list if we had stocked just a bit more.
Honorable Mentions
These titles sold out earlier than expected, but if we had brought more they might have cracked the top five!
#5. Tricky Kids
One of our brand-new internally developed titles! Designers Danielle Reynolds and Steven Ungaro were at the convention showing off their baby to anyone who would listen, and their excitement was contagious. Although we're thankful for the work that they put in getting the word out, Tricky Kids is a brilliant, playful trick-taking twist that stands solidly on its own.

#4. Gatsby
Going into the convention, we wondered: are 2-player-only games still in demand? Turns out the answer is yes! This marked the U.S. debut of Gatsby, designed by the legendary Bruno Cathala, and the buzz was real. Between glowing reviews and its elegant duel-style gameplay, it was no surprise to see it take the #4 spot.

#3. Beasts
Another homegrown Pandasaurus title! Beasts captivated players with its stunning artwork and fun and efficient demos. It's one of those games that's quick to learn, but a bit more difficult to master. At an accessible price point for the amount of gameplay inside the box, this one was flying off the shelves. We always believed in it—and Gen Con confirmed it!
Game Info:
- Players: 2–5
- Playtime: 20–30 minutes
- Ages: 12+
- Designer: Clarence Simpson
- Illustrator: Pauliina Linjama
- Retail Release: November 2025
- MSRP: $17.95
#2. Sea Salt & Paper

We’ll admit we were a bit surprised since Sea Salt & Paper has been out for a couple of years, but this delightful card game just keeps winning hearts! The bundle pricing with expansions certainly helped, but honestly, its charm, portability, and replayability keep it evergreen.
Game Info:
- Players: 2–4
- Playtime: 30 minutes
- Ages: 8+
- Designer: Bruno Cathala & Théo Rivière
- Illustrators: Lucien Derainne & Pierre-Yves Gallard
- Retail Release: 2022
- MSRP: $17.95
#1. Sea Salt & Paper: Extra Pepper
Our Gen Con champion! Extra Pepper flew so fast we had to ration copies across the weekend. We could have easily sold three times as many if we had brought more copies. To every person who came by the booth excited to purchase it, and left disappointed because we were sold out... we see you and we feel you. It'll be hitting retail shelves very soon, and we promise it's worth the wait!
Game Info:
