A Forest Set Ablaze by Myth
Deep in the forests of the far north lives Tulikko, the Fire Fox — an animal spirit whose blazing tail is said to spark the aurora borealis as it runs through the trees.
In the game, players venture into these mystical woods to create vibrant wilderness maps full of color and pattern. The atmosphere is serene yet magical, pairing mythical storytelling with striking, modern artwork that makes every play feel special.

How It Plays
Tulikko is designed for 2–4 players and plays in about 20 minutes, making it easy to teach and perfect for repeat game nights.
Each turn, players slide forest tiles through a shared central board, ejecting a tile to add to their personal map. Placing tiles next to one another earns animal tokens or river tokens, while completing spatial objectives and shared goals helps players race toward victory.
One-time Aurora abilities add just the right amount of tactical surprise. They let players bend placement rules, reposition tiles, or seize objectives at key moments.
The goal of the game is simple: be the first to place all of your tokens. However, getting there will require some light strategy!

Who Is Tulikko For?
Tulikko is a great fit for:
- Fans of tile-laying and spatial puzzle games
- Players who like strategy without heavy rules
- Families and casual groups (Ages 8+, ~20 minutes)
- Game nights that thrive on shared objectives and clever timing
- Anyone drawn to nature-inspired themes and beautiful table presence
If your shelf includes modern classics in the tile-laying space, Tulikko will feel right at home.
