We’re so excited to announce the next stop on our Road to Gen Con: The Mind: Soulmates, a brand new standalone game based on one of our all-time bestsellers, The Mind.
If you thought you and your friends were psychically connected before, just wait.
What Is The Mind: Soulmates?
In The Mind: Soulmates, you and your fellow players will once again attempt to play numbered cards in ascending order without talking, signaling, or showing your cards.
But this time, there’s a twist: one player is the Seer. They get to peek at a few of the cards and leave a cryptic numeric clue (just a single number!) to help guide the team.
It's all about interpreting that clue, syncing up mentally, and trusting your gut. Think of it as the classic tension of The Mind, with a splash of mysterious cooperation.
How Do You Play?
The game is played cooperatively over 12 increasingly difficult levels, and your team must complete each level to advance.

Setup:
- A deck of 50 Number cards (numbered 1-50)
- A stack of 12 Level cards
- 4 Lives (3 in a 2-player game)
- A Hint sheet and marker
Each round works like this:
- One player is the Seer. They stay the Seer until the team successfully completes the level.
- The Seer draws a number of cards from the deck based on the current Level card.
- They secretly look at a few of those cards, then write 1 number on the Hint sheet as a clue.
- The cards are shuffled and dealt out to the players.
-
Without speaking, signaling, or exchanging any kind of information, players must play their cards face down in ascending order.
Did you get the order right?
- If yes: move to the next level, and the next player becomes the Seer.
- If no: lose a life and try the level again—but this time, the Seer can add another hint.
If you ever lose your final life... well, your paranormal powers let you keep playing. But one more mistake after that, and the game ends.

What Makes It Special?
🔮 That one tiny clue. A single number scribbled on the hint sheet can mean everything—or nothing.
💬 The tension of total silence. Just like in The Mind, the lack of communication becomes a language of its own.
🧠 That psychic moment when it just clicks. You place your 23. Someone else places a 24. It’s magic.
💗 It’s in the name. This version is all about connection. Can you and your friends become... Soulmates?
Who’s It For?
If you loved The Mind, this is a no-brainer.
If you’ve never played a game like this, The Mind: Soulmates is a perfect starting point: easy to learn, fast to play, and impossible to forget.
You’ll be thinking about that one round you almost got right long after the cards are packed away.
