What's in the box... (gotta read that like Brad Pitt's character Mills from Seven)

From the moment I opened the box, 365 Adventures: Cthulhu 1926 grabbed me by the collar and whispered, “Get ready.” The design, the sense of mystery, the mechanics — everything comes together in this beautifully crafted experience. If you love Lovecraftian horror, dice-rolling intrigue, and a story that unfolds one day at a time, this is exactly the calendar game you’ve been waiting for. Here’s why I love it so:

Daily mystery & momentum – Each morning I imagine stepping into John Miller’s shoes, moving through Arkham, gathering clues, facing something eerie… It builds little by little, so that by the time you’ve done this for a few weeks, you’re deep in it.

Quality in every detail – The artwork is atmospheric, the materials feel sturdy, and everything has that kind of tactile weight that makes a calendar not just something on the wall, but something alive.

Evolving mechanics & surprises – New rules that unlock as each month closes, cursed artifacts, creeping dread… It isn’t static. It keeps growing darker, richer. That adds real replay value (or at least, long-lasting excitement).

Bite-sized commitment – Only ~5 minutes each day. That’s perfect to make it part of your morning ritual without feeling like a chore. Quiet horror that sneaks up on you.

Why I’m itching for January 1, 2026 to arrive? Because on that day, I get to start. All the anticipation, the theories, the image of what this first clue will be, the tension of not knowing when the darkness really gets going — I cannot wait. Every calendar date between now and then feels like a placeholder. I want to rip into the first mystery, roll my dice, feel that shudder of cosmic horror. I’ve already told myself: this will be more than a calendar — it will be the backdrop of my 2026.

If you’re on the fence, do not hesitate. This is more than a cool themed calendar; it’s an experience. I love it. I will buy more. In fact, I kind of want to buy more now — in case I want spares, or want to share the madness with someone else.

10/10 stars. Get ready — January is going to be a glorious nightmare.

I can confirm that it did arrive.

I ordered this and I can confirm that it did come. I love Cthulhu themed anything so this will probably be right up my alley but I wont know until 2026. It's a 2026 calendar. So all I can testify to is that I did order it and it did arrive.
OLD GODS 2026. Let's go.

Looks fun. Feels good.

I cannot comment on how the gameplay unfolds through the year, but I can comment on the materials and general concept.

Having read through the initial instructions, this looks like it will be a fun way to start my workdays (i may have to double or triple up on days for the weekends). The calendar and pieces are all lovely and feel well crafted.the game seems well thought out. Im excited to start next year!
