A stylish showdown of influence in the Roaring Twenties!

In Gatsby, two players step into the glittering 1920s as Dorothy Williams or James Miller, vying for the attention of the elusive Jay Gatsby. Compete to recruit characters from the cabaret, finance center, and racetrack by placing influence tokens and activating clever actions — but you can’t pick the same action your opponent just used.

Each location offers unique ways to gain characters, from forming lines and climbing tracks to winning races. Special board spaces let you trigger bonuses like swapping tokens or forcing moves.

Win by collecting three characters of the same color, one of each color, or the most stars if a location runs out. Fast, tactical, and full of charm — Gatsby makes every move count.

How to play Gatsby

This game is super sharp. It is Bruno [Cathala] at his cleverest.

The game is pretty straightforward as to teaching it, but the actions are so layered... it tends to be very, very satisfying as a play.

Gatsby is an excellent two-player game: tense, fluid, interactive . If you like games where each move has real weight and you have to constantly anticipate your opponent , then Gatsby is likely to please you.

I would be happy to play an additional 15 minutes... because it's fun.

This game is fantastic. It's unbelievable. It meets all my expectations of my number 1 anticipated game [of Gen Con 2025].
