Machi Koro: The Expansions brings both original expansion sets (Harbor Expansion and Millionaire's Row expansions) to Machi Koro 5th anniversary edition. This means there is now room for 5 players, tons of new variety and establishments and new ways to play Machi Koro. You can build harbors and send fishing boats out from the city to earn extra income and supply the Sushi restaurant. In Millionaire's Row the city of Machi Koro will put on the Ritz with fancy restaurants and members only clubs!

The Harbor expansion adds 10 new establishments and 2 new landmarks. Millionaire's Row adds 14 brand new establishments! Now there are more ways to play, new variable game set-up instructions and so much added variety to strategy that you'll never play the same game twice!

Great addition to a fun game!

I haven't played both expansions yet but when we added Millionaire's Row to the base game, it gave us so many more options! I always felt this game went a little too fast and adding in so many more choices made it a really fun play.

Played about 10 games now. Hate the one-big-deck mode they recommend. Just sort all cards into 3 stacks: 1-6, purples, and 7+. Then pull 3 purples, 6 1-6, and 6 7+ card stacks to play with for a game.

Tips: If there are 3 or 4 players, ensure there's some good blues and green income producers, and not that many Reds and stealing purples, the game will drag.

Also I asked LLMs to generate a quick randomizer for selecting your cards, but just rolling a dice and getting that number in the stacks works nearly as well.

Was it an upgrade - yes! Is it perfect or well balanced - eh.
